Job summary

Facultatieve Technologies in Leeds seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality function across production and the supply chain. You will drive the effectiveness of the QMS, establish standards and deliver continuous improvements within a manufacturing environment.

The role requires extensive ISO 9001 experience, auditing capabilities and a proactive approach to root cause analysis, CAPA and supplier quality improvements, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS with internal and supplier audits.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and assess product conformity.
• Experience with NCR management, CAPA and customer/supplier quality improvements.
• Clear communication and ability to influence across teams and senior management.
• Autonomous work style with strong prioritisation and data analysis.
• Understanding of health and safety within SHEQ.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 quality management system; manage procedures and records.
• Set quality objectives with leadership; deliver improvement plans with owners and timelines.
• Lead quality activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement and service teams.
• Ensure product requirements and acceptance criteria are understood by all teams and suppliers.
• Plan and lead internal, supplier and subcontractor audits and address findings.
• Report on quality performance, risks and improvement progress to SHEQ leadership.
• Investigate discrepancies in drawings and specifications with engineering.
• Oversee inspection and quality control activities to ensure conformance.
