Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is partnering with a significant manufacturing organisation in Pickering, North Yorkshire to recruit a Quality Manager. You will lead QA and QC across manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery, and manage a quality team of 6 engineers.

The role requires ISO 9001 leadership, audits, supplier quality initiatives and travel mainly within the UK with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

Strong technical background with credibility to engage with engineering, manufacturing and quality issues.
ISO 9001 experience and Lead Auditor qualification.
Client-facing and supply chain experience.
Strong problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement capability.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Background in multi-discipline manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead quality assurance and quality control across manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery operations, managing a quality team of engineers.
Ensure customer compliance and maintain ISO 9001 systems.
Drive continuous improvement and lead supplier quality initiatives.
Manage audits and oversee travel to vendor/supplier sites (UK and some international).
