Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Quality Lead to drive quality management across Data Management projects. The role focuses on owning quality incidents, guiding investigations, and delivering CAPA actions to ensure compliant, high-quality databases that meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, apply root-cause analyses, and coordinate with sponsors to maintain audit readiness and drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or nursing with 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing people.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary issue owner for quality incidents across IQVIA's Quality Management System and Customer Quality System.
• Coordinate targeted investigations for QIs, requesting necessary resources from Functional Leads.
• Direct functional leads/SMEs to determine root causes and CAPAs with documented QI investigations and CAPA plans.
• Escalate to Leadership when required to obtain timely root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Conduct portfolio-level QA investigations, summarize outputs in the QM System, and drive CAPA implementation.
• Review portfolio-level QI data to identify trends; communicate recurring issues to the Sponsor.
• Provide updates on CAPA progress and share corrective/preventive actions for review.
• Negotiate with customers on root cause and ownership of quality issues; articulate IQVIA position clearly.
• Monitor TMF compliance across the portfolio to support audit readiness; participate in quality reviews.
• Serve as SME for quality incident and process improvements within CDM management.
