Job summary

QBE Europe is seeking a Data Quality Lead to head the DQ Issue Management process within the EO Data & AI function. You will oversee the central DQ Issues portfolio, triage and prioritise remediation across business and tech teams, and escalate where needed.

The role requires strong data quality, governance and stakeholder management capabilities. Based in London, this permanent, full-time position offers flexible working.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Quality, Data Management, Data Governance or related data discipline with experienceleading complex issue management or remediation activities.
• Strong understanding of issue management, root-cause analysis and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and allocate capacity based on risk, impact and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DQ Issue Management process from capture to closure.
• Maintain oversight of central DQ Issues queue with governance, tracking and reporting.
• Prioritise DQ Analyst capacity based on risk and business priorities.
• Coordinate remediation across business and technology teams with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Establish Escalation Groups to drive decisions on DQ Issues.
• Drive root-cause analysis and ensure remediation addresses underlying causes.
• Develop business cases for complex remediation requiring additional funding or investment.
• Provide reporting on DQ Issue portfolio including risks and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement of DQ processes, governance and tooling.
