Job summary

Oxford Instruments Andor, based in Belfast, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to champion supplier quality investigations. The role coordinates cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and ensures timely corrective actions are implemented.

You will work with technical groups to embed quality into advanced scientific solutions. The position requires a strong background in quality engineering with supplier focus and a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 5 years hands-on quality engineering experience with supplier quality focus.
• BSc/BEng in engineering or related technical field.
• Electrical/electronic background with supplier quality in low-volume, high-value manufacturing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Champion internal and external quality investigations with a focus on supplier quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely delivery of interim and permanent corrective actions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to embed quality in scientific solutions.
