Job summary

IonQ in Oxford, England, United Kingdom, is seeking a hands-on Staff Supplier Quality Engineer to own supplier quality from selection through to ongoing performance. Qualifications

• Experience leading supplier quality programs and audits in high-tech manufacturing or similar industries.
• Ability to own supplier quality from selection through ongoing performance and disposition of nonconforming material.
• Experience defining and implementing QMS processes with metrics and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection, qualification, audits, assessments, and drive improvements at supplier sites.
• Own the Approved Supplier List and supplier approval decisions.
• Run corrective and preventive action processes and drive containment and root-cause analysis to closure.
• Set and track supplier quality KPIs and report performance to management.
• Translate regulatory and customer requirements to suppliers and contribute to the supplier quality roadmap for new product introductions.
