Job summary

Oxford Instruments Andor seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to champion supplier quality and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams. Based at our Belfast headquarters, you will ensure quality is built into our high-value, low-volume manufacturing environment.

The role requires a BSc/BEng in a technical or numeric field and at least 5 years of hands-on quality engineering experience with strong supplier quality focus.

• BSc/BEng qualification in a computer, technical or numeric subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics or equivalent qualification
• 5 years’ experience of hands-on quality engineering experience. Strong supplier quality focus
• An electrical/electronic engineering background and experience of working in a Supplier Quality role within a low volume, high value manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

We are hiring for a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for championing internal and external quality investigations with a focus on supplier quality. They will coordinate cross-functional teams in order to resolve issues, ensuring timely implementation of interim and permanent corrective actions. They will also work beside technical teams to ensure quality is built into scientific solutions being developed at Andor.

This permanent position is based at our Belfast headquarters

The Senior Quality Engineer will have:

• BSc/BEng qualification in in a computer, technical or numeric subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics or equivalent qualification
• 5 years’ experience of hands-on quality engineering experience. Strong supplier quality focus

An electrical/electronic engineering background and experience of working in a Supplier Quality role within a low volume, high value manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
