Job summary

Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Scotland to lead quality assurance across the ASTI framework. You will act as SME for project teams, shaping the quality management approach and driving continuous improvement.

This role requires strong auditing experience, stakeholder engagement and a proactive, data-driven mindset. You will coach delivery teams, implement governance systems, and ensure processes stay compliant with strategic objectives while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong quality management methodologies and tools.
• CQI Practitioner Member (PCQI).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor trained.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge existing methods and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support to project teams to implement quality management processes.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality performance against KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with customer and standards requirements for assets/services.
• Coach delivery teams in digital quality systems and governance.
