Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join the Energy business and oversee quality assurance for the ASTI programme in North Scotland. You’ll own quality across the project, ensuring Right First Time delivery and compliance with customer, regulatory and industry requirements.

You will work with construction, engineering and supply chain teams to develop and implement Project Quality Plans, ITPs and assurance processes, driving continuous improvement and zero-harm outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in major construction and infrastructure delivery.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management and QA in major projects.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training is desirable.
• Experience driving business improvement and leading change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Project Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Provide expert quality advice to delivery teams and supply chain.
• Ensure customer requirements are understood and quality controls are in place.
• Drive quality performance, metrics and reporting across the project.
• Use digital systems to monitor deliverables, inspections and issues.
• Coordinate quality documentation and assurance submissions.
• Lead internal and external audits and prepare for certifications.
• Collaborate with customers, designers, consultants and supply chain.
