Job summary

Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Sizewell C project in Leiston, Suffolk. You will support the project by delivering quality assurance across plans, audits and continuous improvement, coordinating with the supply chain and client teams.

You will lead on QA activities, develop test plans, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards, while mentoring delivery teams and engaging with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven quality management experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Experience auditing against standards and accreditations (ISO 9001:2015 preferred).
• Ability to gather and analyse data to drive improvements.
• Proficient in quality documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate quality plans, inspection and test plans.
• Provide Quality guidance to project teams and supply chain.
• Implement digital systems to monitor quality performance and issues.
• Ensure customer requirements and project standards are met.
• Coordinate supplier audits and issue closure of nonconformities.
• Prepare and circulate quality reports to stakeholders.
• Train project teams on quality processes and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
