About The Role

Our client, an established, family-owned Chemicals manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Officer. Reporting to the QA Systems Manager, the successful candidate should have experience working in a chemical manufacturing laboratory environment in both Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Requirements

• Educated to minimum 'A' level standard or equivalent in a technical subject
• At least 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in the chemical industry
• Knowledge of QMS systems such as ISO 9001
• Experience in investigations, root cause analysis, and report writing
• Experience with ISO 9001 administration in a technical environment
• Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Management Systems)
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Experience with computer-based systems like Q-Pulse, SAGE X3

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the company's Quality Management Systems to meet operational and regulatory standards
• Assist the Quality Manager in all QA aspects
• Coordinate and support CAPA meetings and follow-up
• Lead or support investigations into complaints and deviations, including root cause analysis and reporting
• Participate in QMS projects to implement new systems and processes
• Conduct internal QMS audits and support the audit process
• Develop policies, standards, and procedures
• Manage Supplier Appraisal Systems and resolve non-conformities
• Oversee Kosher accreditation management
• Administer electronic document control systems
• Provide training on processes and procedures
• Prepare for and support on-site third-party audits
