Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major infrastructure upgrade programme at Sellafield. You will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of civils and infrastructure packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

This key role provides leadership in commercial management from award to final account, with responsibilities including valuations, cost reports, subcontractor oversight, and change control to optimise project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civils or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience on major projects or within regulated environments.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of major infrastructure works from award through to final account.
• Prepare and manage valuations, cost reports and forecasts.
• Manage subcontractor and supply chain packages, including procurement and payments.
• Administer change control, variations and compensation events.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and support their resolution.
• Support the project team with commercial strategy and reportingRequirements
