Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a major nuclear infrastructure programme in the UK. Hybrid working from locations such as Suffolk, London, Bristol or Manchester awaits a commercially astute professional.

You will manage high-value contracts up to £200m, oversee change, risk, payments and claims, and work with Project Managers, Finance and Project Controls to ensure robust commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial management of major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts; FIDIC experience is advantageous.
• Experience managing high-value and complex supply chain contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial management across a portfolio of high-value contracts.
• Manage post-award and execution phases and governance.
• Support project managers with commercial decision-making and risk.
• Manage NEС and/or FIDIC contracts, including change, payments and claims.
• Support management of supply chain packages over £10m.
• Oversee early warning process and governance deadlines.
• Assist resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
• Manage changes and budgeting, forecasting in collaboration with teams.
• Support final accounts closure and strong contractor relationships.
• Ensure governance and IMS alignment; collaborate with Finance.
