DWP Digital is seeking a Senior QA Tester to shape and assure the quality of digital telephony services used by millions in the UK. You’ll lead testing across complex Contact Centre platforms, define strategies and embed best practices within an agile team.

In this hybrid role, you’ll champion test automation and ensure traceability from requirements to defects, delivering reliable, secure services at scale while collaborating with engineers, architects and product managers to drive quality

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in testing Contact Centre telephony platforms.
• Strong knowledge of telephony testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Demonstrable capability in delivering test automation within a Contact Centre environment.
• Strong understanding of maintaining traceability between requirements, tests and defects.
• Proven capability in planning and delivering non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, resilience, accessibility and operational acceptance testing.
• Ability to provide strategic testing leadership, shaping quality practices across product teams and the wider testing community.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing activities across complex Contact Centre platforms, defining test strategies and embedding best practice.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure and resilient services.
• Use a blend of manual testing, test automation and non-functional testing to identify risks early and improve delivery confidence.
• Drive the wider testing community by providing technical leadership and promoting a shift-left approach to quality engineering.
