Job summary

Paragon seeks a Senior Python Engineer to join its compliance technology team in London. You will design, build and enhance production platforms supporting regulatory compliance, trade surveillance, monitoring and reporting across a sophisticated investment environment.

You will collaborate with Compliance and business stakeholders, own scalable data pipelines, APIs and automation, and help deliver reliable systems for fast-moving hedge fund operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering experience, including APIs, automation and data pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience building scalable, reliable, production-grade systems.
• Exposure to financial services, hedge funds or regulatory technology advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with Compliance and business stakeholders.
