Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop and support market data platforms within a Global Markets context. You will work on end-to-end solutions spanning front-end, backend, APIs and data layers in production-grade environments.

The role emphasizes Python backend and NoSQL data stores, with gRPC REST APIs, and collaboration with trading and data teams to deliver scalable, reliable analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining full-stack applications spanning UI, backend services, APIs and data layers.
• Strong background in market data platforms, data analytics and production-grade systems.
• Proficiency with Python and polyglot backend development is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, HBase) and distributed data stores.
• Experience building scalable, reliable APIs, including REST and gRPC.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications spanning user interfaces, backend services, APIs and databases.
• Build and enhance market data platforms supporting analytics, data distribution and downstream consumption.
