Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join our product and engineering team building the systems that power our electric car leasing platform in the UK. You will design robust APIs with GraphQL, work across PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases on AWS, and contribute to frontend work when needed, delivering scalable, maintainable software for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Strong Python expertise with solid software engineering fundamentals.
Experience designing and building APIs, ideally using GraphQL.
Comfort working with multiple data sources including relational and NoSQL databases.
Excellent understanding of core software engineering principles and practices, delivering scalable, maintainable systems.

Responsibilities
