Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Python and React) to join our product and engineering team, delivering the systems that power our electric car leasing platform. You will work with Python/GraphQL, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases on AWS to build APIs and frontend experiences that scale and delight users.

You will own features end-to-end, design robust APIs, and collaborate across disciplines to raise the bar on code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python and React.
• Proficiency designing expressive APIs using GraphQL and multiple data sources.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Strong understanding of coding principles and best practices for robust, scalable software.
• Proven track record of collaborating within teams and across disciplines.
• Ownership of feature development from inception to delivery.
