Job summary

Danaher, via SCIEX, is seeking a Senior Application Scientist - Proteomics to deliver customer-centric LC-MS demonstrations, training, and application support. You will work closely with sales and product teams to support pre-sales visits and develop end-to-end proteomics workflows for life sciences and pharmaceutical markets.

The role emphasizes leadership in customer engagement, method development, and data analysis, with travel up to 50% within North America.

Qualifications

PhD/MS/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences with focus on mass spectrometry.
Experience in proteomics workflows including sample preparation, method development, and data analysis.
Strong customer-facing skills and ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to travel up to 50% (North America).
Experience with LC/MS quantitative and qualitative workflows using accurate mass instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Lead customer engagement and deliver LC/MS product demonstrations and proteomics workflows.
Provide field application support, method development, and training to drive customer success.
Collaborate with sales, service, and product teams for pre-sales visits and presentations.
Contribute to product innovation by testing and applying new hardware and software solutions in proteomics.
