Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline mandatory.
• Significant experience in analytical laboratory environments.
• Strong practical experience with LC-MS, including method development, optimisation, troubleshooting and validation.
• Experience developing analytical methods and sample preparation workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 accreditation standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and validate novel analytical methods using LC-MS technologies.
• Design and improve extraction techniques, sample preparation approaches, and analytical workflows.
• Configure, operate, troubleshoot, and optimise LC-MS instrumentation to generate high-quality data.
• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends and support scientific decisions.
• Lead and contribute to innovation projects developing new detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to implement new analytical solutions.
• Support transfer of new methods into routine laboratory operations.
• Manage multiple projects with quality and timely delivery.
• Produce validation reports, technical summaries, and project updates.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Provide technical expertise during customer discussions and contribute to analytic solution development.
• Support continuous improvement across lab operations and processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and quality standards.
