Job summary

Rullion seeks a Lead Protection & Control Engineer to drive the P&C scope across the full project lifecycle. You will lead design activities, reviews, and testing, while ensuring compliance with UK standards and client requirements.

The role offers hybrid working in the UK, with opportunities to engage from site visits to commissioning, and requires strong leadership and in-depth protection and control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Lead Protection & Control design across full lifecycle.
• Produce SLDs, KLDs, and system architectures.
• Ensure compliance with ENA, BS, IEC standards.
• Engage clients in design reviews and approvals.
• Experience with IEC 61850 and substation cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction for Protection & Control scope.
• Lead design reviews and technical assurance activities.
• Provide on-site support during testing and commissioning.
• Support project managers with cost, risk, and schedule input.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and teams.
