Job summary

Scottish Power Transmissions invites applications for a Lead P&C Design Engineer in Cambuslang. The role focuses on protecting and controlling transmission networks, providing engineering solutions, and supporting lifecycle project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline with relevant experience.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety best practices in design environments.
• Experience with protection and control for transmission networks (33kV–400kV).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Protection and Control engineering solutions for transmission networks.
• Define technical criteria to ensure quality, safety, and profitability of projects.
• Provide technical support and input throughout project lifecycles.
• Lead and mentor team members and coordinate with design and delivery teams.
