Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer in Knowsley. You will own the end-to-end bid process, from initial enquiry to contract award, coordinating technical, commercial and operational inputs.

You will work with Sales, Engineering and Delivery teams to craft compelling tenders and manage supplier quotes. You’ll build strong client relationships, assess risks, and drive best practices across the Proposals function while contributing to team development and successful handovers to

Qualifications

• Experience in proposals, bids or technical sales in engineering.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Experience evaluating technical and commercial risk.
• Understanding of contract terms and commercial conditions.
• Strong planning, organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing winning proposals from enquiry to submission.
• Collaborating with Sales Engineers, Engineering, Commercial and PMs to evaluate risks and requirements.
• Managing customer and supplier relationships during the bid process.
• Supporting continuous improvement and mentoring junior members.
• Ensuring quality, compliance and smooth handover to project delivery.
