Job summary

Clarke Energy in the UK is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive the transition to resilient, energy-efficient solutions. You will combine technical credibility with commercial acumen to win high-value engineering projects, building relationships with energy-intensive organisations and guiding proposals from inquiry to contract.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, manage opportunities, monitor market trends, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards while representing Clarke

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical Sales Engineering role involving high-value engineering projects.
• Strong engineering knowledge and an understanding of technical applications.
• Great grasp of the sales process for complex engineering solutions.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Building new business opportunities and developing a strong pipeline across industrial and commercial sectors.
• Developing customer relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand objectives and demonstrate Clarke Energy's value.
• Managing proposals, feasibility studies and supporting documentation through to contract award.
• Providing market insight to inform forecasting, budgeting and planning activities.
• Upholding quality, safety and professionalism in line with standards.
