Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood is seeking an experienced Proposals Coordinator to drive growth across bids, tenders and client proposals in the UK. You’ll coordinate compelling submissions, gather content with service leads, and craft persuasive responses that reflect client priorities and scoring criteria.

The role sits in the Group Proposals function; you’ll work with operations teams and SMEs to improve bid content, processes and outcomes, with hybrid working available and a focus on continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in proposals, bids or work-winning roles within construction, building services, engineering, FM or related environments.
• Knowledge of building services, MEP or services contracts.
• Experience of framework-led procurement in public/private sectors.
• Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, quality, compliance and presentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PQQs, tenders, framework submissions and client proposals.
• Work with service leads, operations teams and SMEs to gather and shape content.
• Write clear, persuasive responses tailored to client priorities and criteria.
• Coordinate bid plans, review cycles, governance requirements and submission deadlines.
• Maintain and improve bid library with service methodologies, case studies and statements.
• Support client interviews, presentations, clarification responses and marketing collateral.
• Coordinate accreditations, evidence and compliance content with HSQE and wider teams.
• Share best practice across the Group Proposals function and drive bid quality and efficiency.
