Job summary

PPG Industries, Field Based, is responsible for managing the UK mainland store properties. The role focuses on maintaining store Opex/Capex budgets, lease negotiations, and development of the store network to support commercial targets.

The position reports to the National Commercial Operations Manager. You will drive cost-saving plans, support business projects, and collaborate with finance and store development to improve sales and EHS standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in property/facilities role.
• Experience in a multi-site network.
• Experience in retail or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store Network Opex budget and reporting.
• Manage Store Network Capex budgets.
• Ensure EHS critical work completed timely.
• Collaborate with Divisional Controllers on national strategy.
• Identify properties and be primary contact with agents/landlords.
• Support negotiation of all new leases.
• Coordinate financial data gathering and negotiations with owners to purchase.
• Collaborate with Finance to evaluate the business and build the business case for purchase.
• Identify stores needing a refit to improve sales and EHS standards.
• Budget refits with Store Development team.
• Maintain leased property records and key deadlines for timely decisions.
• Conduct lease renewal negotiations and support the team to limit costs.
• Define terms with third-party agents to limit future costs.
