Job summary

MTVH in London is seeking a Supervisor to lead a team of tradespeople in complex repairs, voids and disrepair within social housing. You will oversee delivery of right-first-time repairs, coordinating with planning and customer service staff to keep customers informed.

The role requires a qualified tradesperson with experience in complex environments; SMSTS is desirable, and a driving licence is essential. You will mentor staff and ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a qualified tradesperson in carpentry, plumbing, general building or roofing.
• Experience with complex, voids and disrepair works.
• Commitment to right-first-time repairs and customer service.
• Ability to use multiple IT applications and databases; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of tradespeople, ensuring quality workmanship and productivity.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to plan and deliver repairs.
• Manage health and safety in a social housing repairs environment.
• Plan work for multiple trades and minimise downtime, while maintaining KPI targets.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the team and stakeholder communications.
