Metropolitan Thames Valley is seeking a Supervisor to lead a team of skilled tradespeople in a social housing maintenance setting. You will guide daily operations, ensure high-quality workmanship, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with planning and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes right-first-time repairs, effective problem solving, and a calm, patient approach under pressure.

Qualifications

Able to lead and mentor a team of tradespeople with focus on right-first-time repairs.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety in social housing repairs.
Experience in planning, coordinating and delivering repairs to time and KPI targets.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office and CRM systems for admin tasks.
Hold a valid Driving Licence and SMSTS qualification desirable.
Trade/construction qualification and strong knowledge of repairs in social housing.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of tradespeople, ensuring quality workmanship and productivity.
Collaborate with supervisors & managers to plan and deliver effective repairs.
Experience and ability to manage Health and Safety in a social housing repairs environment.
High level of technical knowledge and diagnosis skills in a housing maintenance environment.
Able to manage problems and identify solutions.
Ensure repairs are completed on time and within Key performance indicators.
