Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley in London is seeking a skilled trades supervisor to lead a team of tradespeople, ensure quality workmanship, and deliver repairs right first time while maintaining excellent customer service. You will work with planning, customer service, surveying staff and repairs officers to stay compliant.

This role focuses on health and safety, coordinating multiple trades, and providing strong leadership in a housing maintenance context.

Qualifications

• Trade/construction qualification and repairs knowledge in social housing.
• Experience in complex voids, disrepair works.
• Ability to deliver right first-time repairs.
• Driving Licence (required)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of tradespeople, ensuring quality workmanship and productivity.
• Collaborate with supervisors & managers to plan and deliver effective repairs.
• Experience and ability to manage Health and Safety in a social housing repairs environment.
• Ensure repairs are completed on time and within KPI targets.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the team.
