Job summary

Artisan Agency is seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to lead a mobile team of subcontractors delivering damp and mould repairs across social housing and property maintenance projects.

The role focuses on day-to-day leadership, safety compliance, and high-quality service delivery, with responsibilities spanning performance management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Damp & Mould Supervisor in social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance processes.
• Experience leading teams and monitoring performance metrics; strong communication.
• IT proficiency with MS Office and mobile work management systems.
• CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely preferred; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of subcontractors delivering damp and mould repairs and maintenance, ensuring all jobs are completed on time, to specification and to the required quality standards.
• Manage productivity, performance and quality through regular monitoring and site visits, reviewing completed works, coding accuracy and the justification of any variations.
• Work closely with planners, administrators and client teams, helping to maintain a smooth workflow and ensuring accurate reporting across all works.
• Ensure that all works comply with Health & Safety, quality and regulatory requirements, delivering toolbox talks, completing risk assessments and carrying out site inspections; promote safety culture.
• Support resource planning and coordination, build strong relationships with residents, clients and colleagues; maintain a professional approach at all times.
• Mentor apprentices and support the development of team capability.

Artisan Agency is working with a leading UK property services specialist to recruit an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to join their team.

Our client is a trusted property services specialist delivering responsive repairs, planned works, refurbishments and voids services across the UK. They support housing providers and public sector clients with high-quality maintenance and compliance services, helping to keep residents safe, properties well maintained and communities supported.

We're looking for an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to oversee teams of subcontractors. You'll be responsible for day-to-day enquiries, performance management and service quality, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong trade knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and guide a mobile workforce delivering first-time fixes and positive resident experiences.

About You

• You will have proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Damp & Mould Supervisor, Senior Operative or similar role within social housing, property maintenance or a related environment.
• You will have excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades, together with a good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance processes.
• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics is essential, alongside strong communication and organisational skills.
• You will be IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.
• A valid CSCS card is required, with SSSTS, SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely preferred.
• A full UK driving licence is also required
