What you'll do

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Supervisor to join our Bramford to Twinstead project team in our Strategic Infrastructure business unit, where you will be managing a team of Project Supervisors to deliver a range of construction projects across the East Anglian region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities, and be looking for the next step on a development path to management.

You will support up to 4 Project Supervisors by providing expert guidance. You will help to assign resources to projects within your area, ensuring the highest of safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained.

We also have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Supervisor. Essentially, you will ensure all site-based construction activities delivered by our principal contractors are efficiently managed in accordance with National Grid policies and procedures. You will utilise the duties of ‘Client Representative’ with a keen eye on safety and the quality of the installation.

Assigning local projects and minimising travel is always a priority for us to find a better work/life balance, but travel across the region to our ‘live’ construction projects will be required. This is predominantly a site-based role.

About you

• For the Senior Project Supervisor role, ideally you will currently or have previously been a Project Supervisor - this is key to understanding & supporting your team.
• Can demonstrate a good understanding of CDM regulations and National Grid procedures.
• Have a deep understanding of construction projects, preferably within the energy sector.
• Be able to solve problems and instil a positive safety culture within our projects, especially with our contractors.
• An awareness of project, contract and stakeholder management and client representative experience.
• Full driving licence is essential.

What you'll get

• For the Senior Project Supervisor, a salary between £51,899 to £65,675 dependent upon experience.
• For the Project Supervisor, a salary between £45,521 to £57,739 dependent upon experience.
