The Role

The Partner Policies & Processes (PPP) team defines our operational standards with restaurant partners to ensure ease of doing business and a market-leading partner experience at an acceptable cost. As a PPP Senior Project Lead, you will lead initiatives under process experts' guidance, focusing on improving experience or reducing costs, collaborating with Product & Technology teams, and driving execution across markets. Reporting to the Director, Partner Policies & Processes, you will be part of a team of process specialists supported by PPP project managers, leading or supporting specific initiatives.

What you’ll be responsible for

You will lead projects addressing key opportunities to make Deliveroo the preferred delivery provider for restaurant partners. Your daily responsibilities include:

1. Scoping the project: analyzing performance data, conducting restaurant research, and gathering frontline feedback to identify and prioritize problems, then defining project timelines and resource needs.
2. Defining the solution space: conducting analyses and brainstorming with stakeholders to explore potential options.
3. Making business recommendations: evaluating options, building business cases, and securing stakeholder support.
4. Supporting Product Team: contributing to requirements and leading User Acceptance Testing.
5. Leading go-to-market: managing rollout according to our playbook, collaborating on communication, and leading change management with frontline teams.
6. Evaluating impact: reviewing post-launch performance and implementing improvements.
7. Project Management: managing multiple complex projects involving diverse stakeholders across markets.
8. Change Management: employing proven techniques to facilitate adoption of new ways of working.
9. Process Design: mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and building cases for change.
10. Problem-solving & Strategic Thinking: framing issues, analyzing tradeoffs, and anticipating risks.
11. Communication & Influence: active listening, simplifying ideas, effective collaboration, and confident presentation.
12. Team Development: collaborating cross-functionally, resolving misalignments, and coaching junior members.
