Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Doncaster is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, delivery and handover of major power infrastructure projects. You will manage resources, ensure safety, and drive successful outcomes across the project lifecycle.

45 hours per week with benefits including site allowances, a company car, a generous bonus and subsistence allowances. Hybrid options may apply where suitable.

Qualifications

• Project delivery experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Power/Utilities within large infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication skills to mentor and lead teams.
• Commercial acumen to manage costs and keep projects on budget.
• Knowledge of standard contract forms and performance evaluation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
• Lead a multi-skilled team and set the project delivery tone.
• Oversee initiation, planning, design, delivery, and handover.
• Ensure expenditure aligns with budget and resources are used efficiently.
• Promote data-driven decisions and Zero Harm in project execution.
