Standard Life plc in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the PIO Transformation workstream. You will partner with the Head of Policyholder Operations and SLT to deliver project outcomes, managing complex priorities and cross-functional teams.

Essential experience in retirement solutions, asset management, and strong governance. Flexible working options are available, with a focus on delivering value and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experienced Project Manager with history leading large teams and integrations or similar role.
• Significant experience in Financial Services / Retirement Solutions and Asset Management.
• Essential PIO knowledge: policyholder investment processes, Fund Accounting, governance, data, reporting, trading and fund operations.
• Investment operations acumen with understanding of dependencies, risks and controls across PIO-related change.
• Experience in supplier onboarding/offboarding within securities service/operations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work streams under pressure.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial acumen.
• Experience with project methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, Agile) and regulators (PRA & FCA).

Responsibilities

• Translate PIO strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Lead project team to deliver core business outcomes and benefits.
• Collaborate with delivery leads across Standard Life and external partners.
• Drive day-to-day delivery and risk management for the PIO workstream.
• Coordinate with PIO Transformation and other change teams for resource allocation.
• Interface with RS & AM Finance on budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage third-party providers and cross-team collaboration.
• Govern project governance, report MI to Boards/Committees as needed.
• Communicate roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
