Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services at Dungeness A seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a major decommissioning programme, coordinating site teams, contractors and regulatory bodies to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

You will shape delivery strategies, manage risks, and drive performance across the project lifecycle while mentoring teams and ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) and a recognised project management certification are essential.
• Significant experience delivering complex projects within highly regulated or high-hazard environments is essential.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and contractor management capabilities.
• A strategic, proactive and resilient approach with the ability to solve complex problems and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe delivery of a major demolition and decommissioning project with safety, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, stakeholder relationships and contractor performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact between project teams, site operations, contractors and corporate functions.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to project team members and drive continuous improvement.
