Amentum is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value projects within a regulated environment, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes while upholding safety and quality.

You will mentor Project Managers, align with clients and regulators, and drive governance and robust controls. The role supports social value through the DNWP framework and offers hybrid UK-based working.

Qualifications

• APM Chartered Project Professional status or PMI membership preferred.
• Experience in highly regulated, quality-assured engineering contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project delivery including cost, schedule, quality, safety and risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for multiple complex projects and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Own end-to-end delivery performance across portfolios including cost, schedule, quality and safety.
• Mentor Project Managers and delivery staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Serve as primary senior interface with clients, JV partners, regulators and senior leadership.
• Oversee development and governance of project execution plans with best-practice methods.
• Ensure robust project controls: programme management, cost control, risk and change management.
• Review budgets and schedules and take early action on risks and recovery.
