Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Manager for SizewellC to deliver nuclear programme objectives with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery across the project lifecycle.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex contracts, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure performance against baselines, whilst embedding lessons learned and upholding our safety and environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree and Chartered status in Project management, Construction, Civil engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management and construction activities.
• Experience managing major projects from concept to handover in complex environments with safety and environmental responsibility.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design/procurement work and driving teams to deliver on time.
• Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems or civil engineering for large industrial plants.
• Procurement and management of complex contracts; control of costs, risks, schedule and change.
• Project management or project engineering experience from concept to handover; close out of commercial claims.

Responsibilities

• Take a global overview of the nuclear power plant SSCs within the programme.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering studies by RD or contractors.
• Prepare post-FID contracts with terms, appendices and technical specs.
• Drive site-specific design changes into design deliverables.
• Manage internal and external interfaces for a coordinated design & delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders and suppliers to identify obsolescence and risks.
• Manage procurement process for specific contracts.
• Capture lessons learnt as business as usual.
