Job summary

Equans is seeking a Project Manager to join our Liverpool team. This full-time, 12 month FTC role offers a competitive salary, a company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.

You will manage projects from conception to completion, oversee procurement and subcontractor management, and ensure delivery to budget, programme and quality targets. You’ll act as the main client contact, build strong relationships and drive opportunities across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Project work management experience in an M&E, FM, construction or critical environment.
• Proven experience of running a P&L.
• Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team.
• CDM regulations knowledge and compliance.
• Business literacy in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, programme, quality, and profitability targets.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships and identifying new project opportunities across the portfolio.
• Lead tendering, procurement and subcontractor management activities, including commercial evaluation, contract administration and supply chain development.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, SHEQ standards, company procedures and all statutory requirements, effectively managing project risks throughout.
• Take full commercial responsibility for projects, including P&L performance, budgeting, cost control, valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Develop project programmes, coordinate resources and subcontractors, and oversee successful delivery through to completion, handover and customer acceptance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, O&M manuals and other project controls to ensure effective governance and communication.
