px Group in Stockton on Tees is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead engineering capital projects within the Engineering department. You will drive delivery, ensure compliance with px standards, and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement and construction, with a focus on on-time, on-budget performance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Formal Project Management qualification (PMP or equivalent) required.
• Extensive project management experience in engineering environments, preferably heavy engineering.
• Strong planning, monitoring and reviewing skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into actionable project plans.
• Keep projects on time and within budget.
• Deliver expected business outcomes for the client and px.
• Identify and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate work and motivate team members across disciplines.
• Act as main point of contact for the client.
• Develop and maintain project management processes.
• Compile and control detailed schedules using MS Project or P6.
• Daily management of Project & Engineering teams to enable delivery.
• Support weekly financial reporting with the finance controller.
