Senior Project Manager (Engineering)

Location: North West, ideally Wirral

Salary: Up to £70K DOE

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Concept Projects Group is a leading engineering project delivery company, managing high-quality engineering, construction, and turnkey projects across industries like food & beverage, pharmaceutical, homecare, logistics, and more.

Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple strategic projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. The role requires UK-wide travel.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing multiple complex multidisciplinary projects and ensuring timely delivery
2. Conducting feasibility studies and assessments for engineering improvements
3. Directly liaising with senior client teams at Director and VP levels
4. Developing project plans, budgets, and CAPEX forecasts
5. Ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices
6. Executing projects from initiation to completion
7. Advising on design, technical, and procurement issues, including development of design briefs and preparation of estimates for capital projects
8. Identifying risks, planning mitigation strategies, and managing change requests

Requirements

1. Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
2. Proven track record in project management
3. Minimum of 3 years experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects
4. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems
6. IOSH/NEBOSH certification and familiarity with APM/Prince 2 (preferred)
