Job Description:

We are recruiting a Senior Project Engineering Manager for a major project in Warrington. The role involves coordinating, implementing, and overseeing engineering activities, maintaining close working relationships with Project Managers and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing and implementing project manpower needs and coordinating technical activities across disciplines.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and licensing requirements.
• Designing safe, reliable, and operationally sound plant systems.
• Preparing and issuing Engineering Execution Plans, incorporating customer requirements, procedures, and standards.
• Developing master document lists and work package descriptions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinating development of work-hour estimates and supporting project cost estimates.
• Facilitating communication among project teams, clients, and external groups.
• Monitoring project progress, performance, and resource utilization, addressing delays and issues.
• Documenting meetings, agreements, and project communications.
• Managing customer engineering comments, approvals, and requests.
• Supporting the technical and managerial development of team members.
• Reviewing engineering performance for quality and completeness.
• Managing design change notices and change order processes.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in relevant Engineering discipline (preferably Chartered or working towards).
• Experience in engineering management roles, preferably within regulated construction sectors including commissioning.
• Knowledge of safety case justification, building regulations, and CDM regulations.
• Current SC clearance or willingness to obtain it.
