Job summary

QinetiQ Limited seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive full lifecycle delivery, ensuring baseline management and budget adherence while meeting governance and assurance standards.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing risks, and engaging stakeholders across functions. The position is based at Bristol or Boscombe Down with a hybrid pattern of three onsite days per week and eligibility for SC clearance.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in project teams and leading projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management and the full lifecycle.
• APM PMQ, PMI PMP or AIPM CPSPM or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated planning and define outputs across scope, time, cost and quality.
• Work with Portfolio Office to ensure project controls and timely performance data.
• Identify and manage risks; plan responses and address issues.
• Attend project reviews and provide status assessments with variance management.
• Engage and influence stakeholders across functions to secure commitment.
