Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a Lincolnshire-based defence-focused client to deliver complex software and hardware capital projects. The role is hybrid: 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days from home, with occasional travel to client sites.

You will lead end-to-end delivery for multi-million pound initiatives, ensuring OTIF delivery within budget and schedule, and maintaining rigorous engineering documentation to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience delivering high-value projects for external clients (£Ms).
• Experience within commercial defence, government, or software/hardware contracts at large corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management from planning to execution and finalisation.
• Deliver projects OTIF within budget and deadlines.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables.
• Create and maintain project plans including schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Identify, manage and remedy risks and issues.
• Monitor progress and report updates to stakeholders.
• Chair meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
