Job summary

VIVO Defence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a regional programme of Billable Works, covering construction, refurbishment and infrastructure projects for the Defence estate. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, budget and schedule targets.

Based at Catterick Garrison with a hybrid working pattern, you will manage and develop Project Managers, collaborate with DIO and end-users, and embed sustainable, cost-efficient

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing construction, infrastructure or facilities management projects.
• Proven track record leading operational teams and delivering programmes against KPIs, budgets and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with customers, Defence stakeholders and contractors.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, mitigating risks; CDM compliance and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of Billable Works projects across a regional area.
• Mentor and support a team of Project Managers to develop capability and confidence.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with MOD and VIVO standards.
