Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Billable Works across multiple sites from Taunton. You will oversee projects from cradle to grave, manage supply chains, stakeholders and site teams, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

The role requires experience in construction project management, a Building/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical background and essential SMSTS qualification, with strong IT skills in Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in cradle-to-grave project management within the construction industry.
• HND-level qualification in Building/Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• A management-level health and safety qualification such as SMSTS is essential; IT skills in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from start to finish, coordinating with supply chain teams, local representatives and site managers.
• Monitor performance indicators and review risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and MoD carbon goals.
• Manage costs, stakeholders and contract risks with commercial acumen to meet KPIs and deliver value.
• Oversee construction and refurbishments of buildings including medical centres, offices and hangars.
• Utilise Maximo for project controls and issue resolution.
