Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an Area Projects Lead to own project delivery across Cambridgeshire and surrounding area. You will lead a team of Project Managers, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while aligning with MOD requirements.

The role covers governance, procurement, and handover from briefing to completion, with projects typically valued at £25k+ and a strong emphasis on collaboration with DIO, TLBs, and Establishment heads.

Qualifications

• Experience in project/programme delivery across construction, engineering, facilities management or related environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead project managers or similar teams.
• Driving licence and commitment to CPD.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area project delivery across the service area, overseeing a team of Project Managers.
• Procurement through to construction, completion and handover within time, budget and contract standards.
• Manage area budget, P&L, and cash collection while monitoring risks and performance.
