Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an Area Projects Lead to take ownership of project delivery across their area, leading a team of Project Managers and ensuring that every project is delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and to the highest standards.

You’ll oversee the annual Billable Works programme typically valued at £25k+, manage procurement through to handover, and work with MOD requirements while maintaining budgetary controls and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering, facilities management or related environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams of Managers or similar professionals.
• Relevant project management training (PRINCE2 or APM) and safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of Project Managers and deliver annual Billable Works.
• Establish governance, manage risks and ensure projects meet contractual and MOD requirements.
• Oversee budgets, P&L, margins and cash collection across the area.
• Champion Health and Safety compliance and CDM requirements.
