Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in project management within construction, fit-out, refurbishment, workplace, or capital projects environments.
  • Proven ability to lead client-facing projects and operate autonomously within a fast-paced organization.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, from site teams to senior client leadership.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
  • Solid understanding of construction and workplace project delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, procurement processes, and project governance principles.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common project management and reporting tools.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Manage projects with values up to £5M, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, delivery strategies, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate all project stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and FM teams.
  • Lead procurement activities, including tendering, contractor selection, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and invoicing.
  • Oversee governance through progress meetings and workshops.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and CBRE standards.
  • Mentor and support junior project management resources.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline
