Job summary

Recruit Build Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Associate to lead its Project Management function, delivering a hands-on project portfolio while mentoring the PM team and shaping client development.

You will oversee delivery standards, QA, and governance across sectors including commercial, industrial, logistics, healthcare and education, with opportunities to influence the function and strategy within the business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion.
• Formal Project Management training and recognised qualifications.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting other Project Managers.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme, risk, procurement and project delivery.
• Credibility to operate at Associate / senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

Recruit Build is working with an established and growing construction and property consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager / Associate to lead its Project Management function in Leeds.

This is a genuine senior-level opportunity for an experienced career Project Manager who wants to combine hands-on project delivery with team leadership, client development and a wider role within the business.

You will take responsibility for the PM service, supporting and mentoring the team, maintaining high standards of delivery and QA, while continuing to manage your own portfolio of fee-earning projects.

The business works across a broad range of sectors including commercial, industrial & logistics, retail, healthcare, residential, leisure and education, with projects ranging from refurbishment and fit-out schemes through to major multi-million-pound developments and national programmes.
