Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is working with a growing property and construction consultancy to appoint its first dedicated Project Management hire. You will initially take responsibility for delivering existing projects while helping shape the future Project Management service.

The opportunity offers autonomy to create and grow a PM division, with a pipeline including a £60m, 30-storey residential tower in Salford and an 80-apartment development in Liverpool, plus development monitoring

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy-based project management.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
• Experience delivering residential or development-led projects.
• Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with interest in business development.
• Desire to build and grow a PM service.
• Holding or working towards a relevant professional qualification.

Senior / Associate Project Manager

Turner Property Recruitment is working with a growing property and construction consultancy to appoint its first dedicated Project Management hire.

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior or Associate Project Manager to establish and grow a new PM offering, working closely with the founder and wider consultancy team.

The business already has a strong pipeline of work, including a £60m, 30-storey residential tower in Salford, an 80-apartment development in Liverpool, development monitoring instructions and several other live projects.

The role

You will initially take responsibility for delivering existing projects while helping shape the future Project Management service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects from inception through to completion
• Managing programmes, budgets, risks and project teams
• Coordinating clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
• Preparing project reports and monitoring progress
• Supporting development monitoring instructions
• Helping secure new work and develop client relationships
• Establishing systems and processes for the PM offering
• Recruiting and managing a team as the service grows

About you

The successful candidate will be operating at Senior or Associate level and will:

• Have strong consultancy-based project management experience
• Be technically capable and confident managing projects independently
• Have experience delivering residential or development-led projects
• Be comfortable working closely with clients and senior stakeholders
• Be commercially aware and interested in business development
• Want to build something rather than join an established PM team
• Hold a relevant professional qualification, or be working towards one

You will need to be proactive, adaptable and capable of hitting the ground running without requiring close supervision.
